Description
A maximum-buildable-volume evaluator, running in the browser. Trace a plot over aerial imagery of a real place, drag its corners, say what each boundary faces, and the envelope it allows is derived on the spot — with the volume, the storeys and the floor area it holds, and a Rhino file to leave with. Two rule sets sit side by side: the one his own Grasshopper definition computes, and the Chilean OGUC as it actually stands, where a street frontage is not a boundary, the rasante is a cone raised at the middle of the street, and what usually limits a building is not the envelope at all but the coeficiente de constructibilidad.

Un evaluador de volumen máximo edificable que corre en el navegador. Calca un terreno sobre la ortofoto de un lugar real, arrastra sus vértices, di qué enfrenta cada deslinde, y la envolvente permitida se deriva al instante — con el volumen, los pisos y la superficie que caben, y un archivo Rhino para llevarse. Conviven dos reglas: la que calcula su propia definición de Grasshopper, y la OGUC vigente, donde un frente a calle no es un deslinde, la rasante es un cono levantado en el punto medio de la calle, y lo que normalmente limita un edificio no es la envolvente sino la constructibilidad.
